The Centre
for Galician Studies is pleased to announce the visit of well-known and
multifaceted Galician artist Xelís de Toro.
Xelís was once student at the
University of Birmingham and also a teaching fellow for its Centre for Galician
Studies (1991-1993). Now he is coming back to give a performance recital from
his most recent work O libro das pontes
invisibles/The Book of Invisible
Bridges, a bilingual collection of texts written in Galician and translated
into English by John Rutherford.
