New activity coming up. The Centre for Galician Studies of
the University of Birmingham is taking its students to the concert
by Carlos Núñez, Philip Pickett & Musicians of the Globe, "Celtic roots: a celebration of early Celtic ballad &
dance tunes."
Carlos Núñez is a Galician folk-legend and a brilliant
piper. Carlos’ early dedication and passion for Celtic music and for making
musical connections has been at the core of his world-wide success.
After the concert, the students will have the opportunity of
meeting and talking with the artist and his musicians in person.
The concert will be taking place concert at Town Hall
